Our Team

The WNC Youth Homelessness Partnership is being implemented by a multidisciplinary team of staff and consultants assembled by HealthNet Gaston. A major component of the Partnerhip is engaging youth leaders to utilize their experiences and expertise in developing an equitable and impactful youth homelessness response system. Youth leaders will serve in both an advisory and policy-making capacity through a Regional Youth Action Board (YAB) and local YABs. The Regional YAB is the governing oversight body for this project, working in tandem with the project sponsor, HealthNet Gaston. Members of the Regional YAB are compensated for their time and expertise. Local YABs offer young people opportunities to learn and grow into leadership roles while also contributing to their own communities success in implementing youth homelessness response systems.
